The Florida Supreme Court ruled that incriminating statements made by a murderer to a priest were not protected from disclosure in court by the clergy-penitent privilege.

Interesting stats of JWN visitors: 74% from U.S. and 2.3% from U.K.
by paul from cleveland ini would have thought more traffic came from the uk since there are so many posters from there.. .

No, the stats are just measuring the total number of visitors (members and non-members). There is no info on whether the visitors post or not.

Blondie, the statistics listed are the total number of visitors to this site regardless of whether they post or not. I wouldn't know how to gather the percentage of actual posts by country.

Something else interesting: JWN has an average of over 38,000 unique visitors each month. The Unique Visitors metric only counts a person once no matter how many times they visit a site in a given month. That means there are a lot of lurkers here.

I haven't specified my country am I amongst the 15% other.
It doesn't matter if you specify which country you're from when you sign up for JWN. Your computer has an address called the IP Address. Most of these addresses are allocated regionally. The numbers in your IP address tell it what country you are in.

Faders are indeed a very large doormat
by moshe insorry, to be so blunt- for a whole day i have watched people here patting themselves on the back- we're a large army, oohh, look out wt, we might do something, well not today or tomorrow, but someday!
maybe, i have to just accept that a lot of jw's who are exiting the kh by the back door will never find a backbone to stand up to mummy and elder daddy.. jw's have a learned ability to see themselves in a better light than everyone else sees them.
ask a jw, if they are a charitable religion and they would likely all say they are, but when pressed to name a charity they will be unable to do so.

Obsessing over tearing down the Watchtower is allowing them to still control your life. Besides, by working against them, you're just fulfilling prophecy in their mind. Apathy is what made me feel marginalized. Strong opposition made me feel that we were at the center of a large "universal issue".
